Terms and Conditions for Cleaning Services

Introduction

These Terms and Conditions set out the agreement between Fox London and the client for the provision of cleaning services. By booking or using our services, you agree to be bound by these terms. They are designed to ensure clarity, fairness, and a professional standard of service for all parties involved.

Fox London provides a range of cleaning services to residential and commercial clients. These terms apply to all services unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Booking Process

Bookings can be made by providing details of the required service, including property size, condition, and any specific requirements. Quotes are based on the information provided at the time of booking. It is the client’s responsibility to ensure that all relevant details are accurate.

Once a booking is confirmed, a time and date will be agreed. Fox London reserves the right to amend or reschedule bookings in the event of unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, reasonable notice will be provided wherever possible.

Access to the property must be arranged in advance. If access is not available at the scheduled time, the service may be cancelled and a charge may apply.

Pricing and Payments

All pricing is provided based on the scope of work agreed at the time of booking. Prices may vary depending on the size, condition, and specific requirements of the property.

Payment is due upon completion of the service unless otherwise agreed. For certain services or larger bookings, a deposit may be required in advance to secure the booking.

Additional charges may apply if the condition of the property differs significantly from the description provided, or if extra services are requested on-site. Any such changes will be discussed with the client before proceeding.

Cancellations and Rescheduling

Clients may cancel or reschedule a booking by providing reasonable notice. A minimum notice period may apply depending on the type of service booked. Failure to provide sufficient notice may result in a cancellation fee.

If Fox London is required to cancel or reschedule a booking due to circumstances beyond its control, an alternative date will be offered. No liability will be accepted for any inconvenience caused by such changes.

Service Standards

Fox London aims to deliver all services to a professional and consistent standard. Cleaning tasks are carried out based on the agreed scope of work and the condition of the property at the time of service.

While every effort is made to achieve the best possible results, certain outcomes cannot be guaranteed. These may include the complete removal of permanent stains, damage caused by wear and tear, or issues resulting from pre-existing conditions.

Clients are encouraged to report any concerns within a reasonable time following the completion of the service so that they can be addressed appropriately.

Client Responsibilities

The client is responsible for providing safe and suitable access to the property. This includes ensuring that the environment is free from hazards that could affect the safety of the cleaning team.

All personal and valuable items should be secured prior to the service. Fox London cannot accept responsibility for items that have not been stored safely or that are left in areas being cleaned.

The client must inform Fox London of any specific requirements, fragile items, or areas requiring special attention before the service begins.

Liability

Fox London maintains appropriate public liability insurance to cover damage caused by negligence during the provision of services. In the unlikely event of damage, the client must notify Fox London as soon as possible.

Liability is limited to the cost of the service provided. Fox London is not responsible for damage resulting from pre-existing conditions, normal wear and tear, or incorrect use of items or surfaces.

Fox London is not liable for delays or failure to perform services due to circumstances beyond its control, including but not limited to weather conditions, access issues, or unforeseen events.

Waste and Environmental Regulations

Fox London operates in accordance with applicable UK waste and environmental regulations. Where services involve waste handling, materials will be managed responsibly and disposed of in line with legal requirements.

Where applicable, Fox London complies with Environment Agency guidelines and works with recognised waste management and recycling facilities. Clients are responsible for ensuring that any hazardous materials are disclosed in advance.

Fox London reserves the right to refuse the handling or disposal of materials that fall outside the scope of standard cleaning services.

Health and Safety

Fox London is committed to maintaining high standards of health and safety. All staff are trained to follow appropriate procedures and use cleaning products safely.

Clients must ensure that the working environment is safe and that any known risks are communicated prior to the service. Fox London reserves the right to refuse or stop work if safety concerns arise.

Equipment and Materials

Fox London provides its own equipment and cleaning materials unless otherwise agreed. All products used are selected to be suitable for the task and applied in accordance with manufacturer guidelines.

If clients request the use of their own products or equipment, Fox London cannot guarantee results and accepts no liability for any issues arising from their use.

Complaints and Feedback

Fox London aims to provide a professional and satisfactory service at all times. If you are not satisfied with any aspect of the service, you should raise the issue as soon as possible.

All complaints will be reviewed fairly and, where appropriate, reasonable steps will be taken to resolve the matter. This may include revisiting the property or addressing specific concerns.

Termination of Services

Fox London reserves the right to terminate services if the client breaches these terms or if working conditions are deemed unsafe. Clients may also terminate ongoing services by providing reasonable notice.

Any outstanding payments for services already provided must be settled in full upon termination.

Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from the provision of services will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

Amendments to Terms

Fox London reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Any changes will apply to future bookings and services. Clients are encouraged to review the terms periodically to ensure they remain informed.
